The Joys of Being a Wi-Fi Coach at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum

Authored by: Andrew Hutchison, Wi-Fi Coach & USC Student

Being a Wi-Fi Coach at USC last season was an absolute dream.

Every game day, I had the privilege  of walking onto United Airlines Field at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum as a member of an integral team, rather than just a fan. In particular, I enjoyed helping the fans get on and stay connected to the Wi-Fi throughout the game and gained a lot of people skills as well.

As part of my role, I oversaw the Wi-Fi Coaching needs of the VIP Audi Suites on the field for every game I had the honor of assisting USC’s finest football players, by helping them connect and stay connected to the Extreme WiFi from kickoff to halftime. Fight on!

When I got the news that I had been selected to attend Super Bowl LIV as a Wi-Fi coach, I was ecstatic, to say the least! It’s always been dream of mine to attend a Super Bowl, and Extreme and the USC Athletic Department are making that a reality. I am so excited to go and help fans stay connected throughout the game while representing Extreme Networks and USC!
